Six Sentence Sunday #9

I’m happy to be involved in another Six Sentence Sunday.

These six sentences come from my short story Gia’s Free Spirit.  They are the first six sentences in the story so there is no need to set these up.

“If she smells his cologne on me she’s going to kill me.”

As Gia slowly rides her Vintage Sears Free Spirit bicycle through campus that’s all she could think about.  It had been three days since Sara had left.  Three long days since she had heard anything from her and now she wishes she had changed the locks on their house.

Actually it was Sara’s house.  She never let Gia forget that.

I hope you enjoyed my Six.  Make sure you visit what some other writers have shared with you on this Sunday here.
